Investigative photojournalism

Whether banking crisis, real estate speculation or party fever, I move with skill and sensitivity gradually turned into different environments and in different social circumstances.

My open-minded way facilitates access to persons who are required to research a story. My language skills make conversations and interviews easier, as my understanding of Spanish culture builds a bridge between North and South.

No matter what kind of topic should be researched, I possess the necessary tenacity and network, as well as plenty of local and national contacts, to get nearly almost everywhere one foot in the door. Many authors (mostly from german magazine "Der Spiegel"), with whom I worked, can confirm this. At least I hope so …

multimedia

The multimediality of new narrative forms in journalism and design calls for cooperation. Where the crisis is forcing publishers to develop innovative media faster and faster, the visual storyteller of today can go as author other routes. Because inertia to the old ways leads into cultural pessimism and the profession of the reporter can survive only by transformation, constant change means also new qualification.

In collaboration with experts in my network of photographers, videographers, web designers and illustrators, I founded the local multimedia-platform Punt de Focus.
